Desiree Potatoes have a firm, creamy tasting flesh that makes them ideal for smooth mash or cooked in a sauce, such as our favorite Dauphinoise Potatoes. A Desiree Potato is easily recognizable by tier lovely red skin and light yellow flesh. Desiree is normally longer, larger and oval-shaped.
