Cheeky Chilli Sauces is a family-owned enterprise that has been crafting the renowned Zimbabwean chilli sauce since 1987. The concept of Cheeky Chilli originated during a casual family barbeque, where Jack Torr created a delicious sauce that was loved by all. Encouraged by his loved ones, Jack began producing and selling the sauce on a larger scale. After experimenting with over 30 different variations using a Kenwood mixer, Jack finally settled on the perfect recipe. The next hurdle for Jack was deciding on a name for his masterpiece. It was during a trip to Kariba, over some refreshing beers and whiskeys, that Jack and his family came up with the perfect name – “Cheeky Chilli”.
